The Academy Values
Over the last few months, we’ve been defining our company values at Academy.
We’re growing, so it’s important that we nurture a sense of belonging. By defining our set of values, we can give our team a north star to follow. Something to fall back on. A home base for our company culture. Something to help them feel grounded.
PURPOSE
We work with people that know their purpose or want to figure out what it is. We’re not about pulling levers and pushing buttons to get people to buy things. There’s no dark magic around here.
Our mission is to help SMEs realise their dreams. For the founders to leave their jobs and work on their startup full time. To help scale their business enough so that they can hire staff, take a holiday or buy a house for your whānau.
You have to believe in what you sell - then we will too.
PEOPLE
Your team, our team & your customers. To achieve authentic and sustainable growth, we’ve all got to be pulling in the same direction.
For Academy, it means maintaining strong client relationships or “Walking over broken glass to get an order out on time”, as my father would put it.
For our clients, it means focusing on who their community is and how they can grow with them. This is the hardest aspect of brand building in 2022. So focus on this from the start.
PRECISION
We strive to make sure that everything we do is of the highest quality. We’re not sending out cappuccinos with no froth.
We instil superior operational systems which allow our team to spend more time focusing on strategy and execution, and less time trying to find files or remember where something was saved.
